BORN TO RUN.  Join the guys as we have a fantastic talk with 2002 RHHS grad Matt Scherer.  Matt discussed his early days at Petty School, RHHS, the University of Oregon and being one of the great track and field Ducks of all time.  He educates us in the life of a professional “pacer” and the awesome places that took him around the world.  Along with his athletic prowess we also talk about his equally impressive academic career as a 2 time Academic All American, Valedictorian and the most decorated spelling bee career in Red Hill history.   Hope you enjoy!!

1990-91 School Year

It’s the end of hair metal and the beginning of grunge, some so-so football,  great basketball and a much decorated cheerleading squad . The 1990-91 school year was right in the wheelhouse for 3 of the hosts and they have lots of stories to tell. AND a bombshell story and that produced a surprise call-in from the person involved.

MEET THE HOST- DAVID KING

Our first “Meet the Host” episode features our very own Kobra….David King.  From his days at RHHS to his time in the Orange Crush he has seem some great games in both the Blue and the Orange.  Of course we touch on the greatest Blue / White game in the history of our great school, his vast wrestling career and that free throw ladder controversy.

 Our idea with the meet the host episodes are to not only learn about the guys but also to jog your memory on players, games and feelings we had at Red Hill.  We hope you enjoy!

We had Red Hill legend Susan Wright share her stories of the emergence of girls sports at Red Hill and how her Saluki teammates changed the way we looked at basketball in Bridgeport. Title IX was taking full effect in the United States and the first great Saluki teams were ready for the challenge. From 4 Square Miles to a successful business in Nashville, TN this is Susan's story.

75-76 Dazed & Confused Part 2
