85-86 School Year.(Part 1)

85-86 school year was a great time at RHHS.  Saying goodbye to many teachers and coaches, not so great football and basketball records but big things are coming, some AWESOME Billboard Hot 100s and memories that will last forever. We discuss some of the best wrestlers of the year and talk about what was a good but nearly great baseball season. And we can’t talk about 85-86 without a discussion of Robert Climer producing West Side Story starring Danny Ash, Tricia Haslett and Stacy Scherer, with a little help from a bearded Neil Heath.  Join us as we take a trip back to the 80’s with the Old School Guys!

POST THANKSGIVING TOURNEYS 78-83

It doesn’t get more old school than the Red Hill Post Thanksgiving Tournament. The boys discuss the turkey tourney 1978-1983 editions.  Mike Ray and John Brooks were the coaches.  Chuck Rousey’s free throw records, Johnny Perrott lighting it up, top songs for each holiday weekend, the return of Terry McAdow, various assistant coaches and a whole bunch of Oblong, Palestine and Edwards County.  Bonus coverage as David King gives a harvest report can’t be missed. Why do a complete year when you can have an endless summer?
