Meet The Host - Brian Emmons

The last of our “Meet The Host” shows and this one is on the eldest of the group in 1987 graduated Brian Emmons. Bryno talks of his time growing up in Bridgeport during the 70s and 80s and what a wonderful place it was to grow up. Jr Pro Basketball

Jr Pro basketball was everything good about RH.  The anticipation of playing on the varsity floor as you watched your heroes the night before you took the court.  The early morning feel of getting to a cold gym and putting on your penny. Teaming up with your classmates to go against another NBA named squad.  And we discuss the great coaches that we had, many who didn’t have kids playing, just a love of the game.  Hope you enjoy the Jr Pro themed episode of Old School.

OLD SCHOOL COMES HOME

The Boys Are Back!! For the first time since 1993 all four of the hosts are in the old gym at the same time and this time we have microphones.  Take a trip down memory lane with us as we broadcast from up in the southwest corner of the greatest gym in southern Illinois.  Guests include, 6-Gun Billy Hughes, Justin Scherer, Super fan Kerry Hill and  featuring lost archived tapes of the great Robert Climer bands (sort of).  I’d list what all was discussed but that would be impossible. MEET THE HOST - CHIP JAMERSON- A TRUE BRIDGEPORT KID

One of, if not, THE greatest Red Hill fan of all time is in the spotlight in this “Meet The Host” episode. Chip is RH through and through whether he lives in Bridgeport or Colfax,  his heart is always in Saluki country.  Born to two outstanding educators, Lenn and Mary, he has made his own way in educating children of all ages and bring a unique enthusiasm to whatever he does.  He loves music, sports and is a pop culture genius with one of the best memories that you will ever see.  He is a great friend to us, a great husband to Patti, father to Josie and Lucy and we’re glad to talk all things Chip and his relationship with Red Hill on this episode.
