Always one of our favorite episodes of the year…..IT’S PROM TIME……..This episode we cover the very first Red Hill prom in 1974. The crowd watched the royalty from both Sumner and Bridgeport crown that first queen. We cover 74-78 to complete 25 years of proms over the years of the pod. Happy 50th anniversary to Red Hill High School!! This week in 1974. It was cold but the basketball was heating up. The Salukis were putting up big points, the jr high was loaded and food was cheap. The guys get out the old newspapers and did through the week of Jan 14th to see what was happening in and around our great town. He was in the middle of the sports scene during the consolidation, was a multi sport athlete, and then a highly successful Little League coach in Bridgeport.
